This is amino acids 11 to 42 fragment of β-amyloid peptide labeled with HiLyte™ Fluor 488, Abs/Em=503/528 nm. Post-mortem Alzheimer’s diseased (AD) brain specimens reveal significant levels of this β-amyloid peptide within the insoluble amyloid pools. HiLyte™ Fluor 488-labeled b-amyloid (11-42) has a brighter intensity than FITC or FAM-labeled b-amyloid (11-42).
