For our Controlling department, we are looking for a (m/f):

Business Controller


The Business controller will join the team of Controlling which is part of the Finance department and will report to the Controlling Manager

Your mission:

•To perform reliable and timely financial analyses, which are useful for managing the company in order to optimize the group's results
•To participate actively to financial planning and budget cycle
•To provide reliable and useful outputs to business units as high level business partner by helping them to build business plan
•Provide best in class support and assist with the month-end close process
•Review financial postings to determine whether appropriate and propose reclassification journal entries as needed
•Promote cost controlling policies, initiatives and best practice
•Identify improvement opportunities for financial processes and reports
•Special projects ad-hoc analyses interacting/partnering across the organization
•Assist the Accounting Manager & the Controlling Manager with internal & external audits
•The scope of actions includes Eurogentec S.A., the distribution subsidiaries in Europe and in the US and also the plant located in California.


Your profile and aptitudes:


•Master degree in finance or a related field;
•You have a first relevant experience in a similar job or Audit Firm
•Structured approach and critical thinking.
•Enjoy working in a team and being autonomous.
•Creative, Positive, open mindset
•Eager to learn.
•Pro-active, creative, and passionate about explaining Finance to non-financial audience.
•Rigorous, Result-oriented, problem-solving, and analytical skills
•Advanced user of Excel, Power BI (or similar tool) user experience is a plus.
•Relevant experience working with SAP is a plus.
•Fluent in English and French.
